Where first principal analysis is not appropriate, we call on the latest finite element techniques to achieve a fully optimised structure.

ATL Composites were commissioned to engineer the 25m moveable, all-composite starting block structure. This involved an extremely challenging design criteria to meet extremely low deflection requirements and maintain Olympic timing accuracy.
DuFLEX Composite Panels were manufactured for the fabrication of the blocks.
